our pear orchards.

We began farming our own pears in 2020, continuing a tradition that has long defined the Hood River Valley. Today, we grow a diverse range of varieties - Bartletts, Red Bartletts, Starkrimsons, Green Anjous, Red Anjous, Gold Russet Bosc, Bosc, Comice, Seckels, and Forelles - each with its own flavor and personality. Pears are the heart of this valley, and we’re proud to contribute to its legacy.

Why Pears Thrive Here

Our orchards are located on the east side of the Hood River Valley, where warm days, cool nights, and rich volcanic soils create the perfect conditions for growing exceptional pears.

The east side receives slightly less rainfall than the west, giving us the ability to carefully manage water and balance growth through precision irrigation.

With this combination of climate and care, our pears develop the vibrant flavors and beautiful qualities that make them stand out.

growing with care

Quality pears don’t happen by chance; they’re the result of attention at every step. We use integrated pest management programs, thoughtful water and fertility practices, and sustainable methods that ensure our orchards stay healthy for years to come.

From the first blossoms of spring to the crisp harvest days of fall, our focus is always on growing fruit that’s flavorful, beautiful, and worthy of your table.

Because in our view, there’s nothing better than a perfectly ripe pear.
